Update: Brabant Circular Economy Subsidy from Provincie North Brabant

In October 2024, Clearwings together with Falcon Electric Aviation won the Brabant Circular Economy subsidy from Provincie North Brabant.

In this project, Clearwings will design and manufacture a circular battery system that is enabled for recycling. The battery system will have metal and plastic components that are easier to separate and recycle during end of life.

The battery system designed during this subsidy project will be used for conducting taxiing tests with Clearwings' Cessna 150 aircraft.

Thanks to support from the province, sustainable and circular projects within electric aviation are becoming a reality.
